Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to Travel Team Albania. By accessing our website, making an inquiry, or confirming a booking for any of our travel services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms govern all interactions, purchases, communications, and services provided by Travel Team Albania.
1. Scope of Services & Licensing
Travel Team Albania operates as a fully licensed Destination Management Company (DMC) providing professional tourism services across Albania and the wider Balkan region.
Our services include:
- Tailor-made and scheduled package tours.
- Private transfers between destinations.
- Stand-alone or tour-related boat bookings.
- Event ticketing (concerts, festivals, etc.).
- Hotel bookings in partnership with platforms like Booking.com.
2. Booking Confirmation and Payment Terms
A. Official Booking Confirmation
A booking is only considered valid and confirmed once it has been officially acknowledged by Travel Team Albania through one of our authorized channels. Once confirmed, you will receive an official email outlining your full service details, confirmed payment status, and any outstanding balance.

We encourage clients to sign up at our website to track their bookings and receive timely updates.
B. Payment Requirements (Direct Bookings Only)
To formally reserve any service:
- Advance Payment: A 60% advance payment of the total trip price is required upon booking confirmation.
- Final Payment: The remaining 40% balance is due upon arrival to our authorized representative, payable by cash or credit/debit card.

- Credit/Debit Cards (online and upon arrival)
- Cash on arrival
- PayPal
- Bank Transfers
Receipts: All services are invoiced with an official receipt issued promptly upon payment.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy (Direct Bookings)
This policy applies strictly to bookings made directly with Travel Team Albania.
A. Policy Commencement
- Bookings $> 6$ Months in Advance: The refund countdown begins only after the 60% advance payment is confirmed. (Note: Bank transfers may take up to 5 business days for confirmation).
- Bookings $< 6$ Months Before Arrival: The cancellation terms below apply immediately upon booking confirmation.
B. Refund Schedule
The refund amount is based on the time elapsed between written cancellation notice and the scheduled arrival date:

Failure to Pay: Failure to complete the final 40% payment on the day of arrival without prior written notice results in the loss of the reservation and all refund rights.
4. Third-Party Bookings & Liability
A. Bookings via Online Resellers
If your booking was processed through a third-party digital platform (e.g., TripAdvisor, TourRadar, GetYourGuide, Civitatis), the cancellation and refund policies specified on their respective platforms will exclusively apply. Travel Team Albania will honor these external conditions as the payment and primary contract are managed by the reseller.
B. Bookings via External Travel Agencies
If your booking is managed by an external, separate travel agency, their internal terms, policies, and liability disclaimers apply. Travel Team Albania holds no liability over services and policies managed by such third-party agencies. Clients must consult their agency for applicable terms.
5. Liability Disclaimer and Force Majeure
Travel Team Albania acts as an agent in booking services for the client. We are not liable for service disruptions, changes, or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Weather or natural events (earthquakes, floods, etc.).
- Political unrest, strikes, lockdowns, or governmental acts.
- Transportation cancellations or delays caused by third-party carriers.
- Force Majeure events.
Itinerary Modifications: Itineraries may be modified when necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. Equivalent services or reasonable substitutions will be provided where possible.
Travel Insurance Requirement
Travel Team Albania does not provide travel insurance. Clients are required to arrange appropriate comprehensive travel, medical, and cancellation coverage in their home country prior to departure. We will, however, always assist during emergencies and ensure transport to the nearest emergency center if required.
6. Client Responsibilities
By booking with us, clients agree to:
- Documentation: Provide valid identification and all necessary travel documents (including passports, visas, or e-Visa invitation letters).
- Conduct: Respect the timing, instructions, and decisions of guides and transport operators.
- Compliance: Abide by all local laws and cultural norms of Albania and the Balkan countries visited.
Travel Team Albania reserves the right to deny or terminate service for disruptive, dangerous, or illegal behavior without refund.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
We handle your personal data in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Albanian law.
- Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, processing, and your rights.
- Data shared with resellers or external agencies is governed by their own privacy policies. If your booking was made through them, please contact the respective agency/platform for privacy inquiries.
- Travel Team Albania will always respect and process any direct request from clients regarding their personal data, including access, deletion, or correction, in accordance with GDPR.
8. Authorized Communication & Governing Law

Only communications sent to and received from the following addresses are considered official for reservations, confirmations, cancellations, or legal notices:

We do not recognize messages sent through personal social media accounts (e.g., Instagram DMs) for official booking matters.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Albania. By accepting these terms, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Albanian courts for the resolution of any disputes.
