We depart the capital and head directly to the coast to explore the massive Roman Amphitheatre of Durrës. We then drive south to the Divjakë-Karavasta National Park, taking a brief nature walk through the serene pine forests by the lagoon. In the afternoon, we wander through the magnificent ancient Greek and Illyrian ruins of the Apollonia Archaeological Park before settling into the coastal city of Vlorë for the evening.
