Our Balkan journey begins as we depart Tirana for Shkodër, the historic capital of northern Albania. We start our exploration with a visit to the imposing Rozafa Castle, offering spectacular panoramic views over Lake Shkodër and the intertwining rivers below, before taking a relaxing stroll through the city's Venetian-style pedestrian center.

Route: Shkodër – Budva – Kotor

We cross the border into Montenegro, driving towards the stunning Adriatic coast to explore the vibrant, walled Old Town of Budva. Route: Kotor – Njeguši – Cetinje – Podgorica

Today, we ascend the famous serpentine roads above Kotor, enjoying breathtaking views of the bay as we head to the traditional mountain village of Njeguši. We then explore Cetinje, the historical Old Royal Capital of Montenegro, before making our way to the modern capital, Podgorica, to spend the night.

Route: Podgorica – Krujë

We leave Montenegro and cross back into Albania, driving towards the historic mountain town of Krujë. After a short drive, we cross into North Macedonia and arrive in its grand capital, Skopje. Day 07 :

Route: Skopje – Mavrovo – Struga
