This 5-day From the Heart of Albania tour offers a relaxing way to explore Albania’s highlights using a “hub and spoke” model, where we base ourselves in the capital and take daily excursions to key historical and natural sites. We stay for 4 nights in Tirana, returning each afternoon to enjoy the city’s vibrant energy, clubs, and cafes.
The itinerary covers a diverse range of eras and regions, including a walking tour of the capital, the historic Kruja Castle and Old Bazaar, and a trip north to Shkodra to see Rozafa Castle and the Marubi Museum. We also explore the coast and antiquity with visits to the Durrës Amphitheatre, the ancient ruins of Apollonia, and the Independence Museum in Vlorë.
