This tour departs very early in the morning from Tirana. You will depart towards northern Albania. As you take the turn from the main road to Vau i Dejës the area becomes more rural with fewer cars but more wild nature and amazing landscapes. From Vau i Dejes and on you will experience local transport over bumpy roads but with a great view. Get on a ferry that will take you through Komani Lake offering spectacular views of the Albanian Alps, waterfalls, rural villages, and wild forests. It is considered by many as an exotic experience combined with the unmatched hospitality of the locals. Your next destination will be Valbona Valley National Park. Explore the area and admire the so-called Crown of the Albanian Alps. Overnight in a guesthouse in Valbona.

Today's departure will be right after breakfast as we prepare our lunch to go hiking for the next 4/6 hours, visiting the old village of Kukaj. Valbone village is about 1000 meters above sea level. Currently, Valbone village has about 30 houses, mostly old 2-3 story towers with thick stone walls and roofs of the characteristic alpine board.
Rragamit waterfall which is the source of Valbona River and is located near the village of the same name (Rragam), is another alpine wonders of nature to be visited.

Since we are looking to experience a lively international experience you should visit Prizren during August when the medieval city becomes home to one of the most famous short film festivals in the world named Dokufest. The best way to explore the town is by wandering through the streets passing by elegant medieval houses that fight for your attention. Filigree artisanal techniques for precious metals are Prizren’s joy and pride. In order not to miss the unique experience of shopping in one of the many filigree shops of the town, where you are welcome to also see the metalsmithing magic happen. If you have to choose just one mosque to visit then visit the Sinan Pasha Mosque, rich in arabesque color and pattern. After exploring the cultural capital of Kosovo, we drive back to our hotel in Tirana.
