Welcome to Travel Team Albania. By accessing or booking any of our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms govern all interactions, purchases, communications, and services provided by our company.
1. Scope of Services
Travel Team Albania provides the following licensed tourism services:

Tailor-made and scheduled tours

Private transfers between destinations

Standalone and tour-related boat bookings

Event ticketing (concerts, football, festivals, etc.)

Hotel bookings in partnership with Booking.com
Our services cover all of Albania and the wider Balkan region.
2. Booking Channels & Cancellation Policies
A. Through Online Resellers
If you book through a third-party platform such as TripAdvisor, TourRadar, GetYourGuide, or Civitatis, the cancellation and refund policies specified on their respective platforms will apply.
Travel Team Albania honors these external conditions, as the booking and payment are processed by the reseller.
B. Through External Travel Agencies
If your booking is handled by a separate travel agency (not a digital platform), their internal terms and cancellation policies apply.
Travel Team Albania holds no liability over services and policies managed by third-party agencies.
Clients are advised to consult their travel agency for applicable terms.
C. Direct Bookings with Travel Team Albania
Booking Confirmation
A booking is only considered valid and confirmed when acknowledged through one of our authorized official channels:
Once confirmed, you will receive an official email outlining your service details, payment status, and any outstanding balance.
We encourage clients to sign up at www.travelteam.al to track their bookings and receive timely updates.
Payment Terms
To reserve a service:

A 60% advance payment is required.

The remaining 40% is due upon arrival, payable by cash or credit/debit card to our authorized representative.

⏳ When Cancellation Policy Takes Effect

For bookings made more than 6 months in advance:
The refund countdown begins only after payment confirmation.-
PayPal or card: Immediate confirmation

Bank transfer: May take up to 5 business days

For bookings made less than 6 months before arrival:
The cancellation terms below apply immediately upon confirmation.
Cancellation Policy (Direct Bookings Only)

More than 6 months before arrival: 100% refund

From 5 months and 30 days to 2 months before: 50% refund of the 60% advance

From 1 month and 30 days to 2 weeks before: 10% refund of the 60% advance
-
Less than 2 weeks before arrival: No refund
Failure to complete the final 40% payment on the day of arrival without notice results in loss of reservation and refund rights.
3. Travel Insurance
Travel Team Albania does not provide travel insurance.
Clients must arrange appropriate travel, medical, and cancellation coverage in their home country.
We will always assist during emergencies and ensure transport to the nearest emergency center if needed.
4. Use of Personal Data (GDPR Compliance)
We handle your data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Albanian law.

Data shared with resellers or agencies is governed by their own privacy policies.

Travel Team Albania will always respect and process any direct request from clients regarding their personal data, including deletion, correction, or export.
5. Liability Disclaimer
We are not liable for service disruptions due to:

Weather or natural events

Political unrest, strikes, or lockdowns

Transport cancellations

Force majeure events
Itineraries may be modified when needed. Equivalent services or replacements will be provided where possible.
6. Client Responsibilities
By booking with us, you agree to:

Provide valid identification and necessary travel documents

Respect the timing and instructions of guides and transport

Abide by local laws and cultural norms

Travel Team Albania reserves the right to deny service for disruptive or dangerous behavior without refund.

We do not recognize messages sent through personal accounts or unofficial sources (e.g., Instagram DMs).

By confirming a booking with Travel Team Albania, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the Terms and Conditions listed above. These terms are governed by Albanian law and apply to all users of our website and services.
