This tour is a combination of a really beautiful city together with the North Gem of Albania, we are talking about a two-day trip, with the full time to relax and enjoy in "Theth Valley" As we take the turn from the main road to Theth the area becomes more rural, with fewer cars but more wild nature and amazing landscapes. Due to its favorable position, this area is famous for cultivating medicinal herbs, and if you are lucky enough to travel in May – June you will be amazed by the pretty and aromatic fields of lavender, making you feel like you are in Provence (France). Not to forget about Shkodra, which is one of the oldest cities in Albania, with a history of thousands of years. For its geostrategic position as the main axis connecting Albania with Montenegro and other countries of the region, the city of Shkodra is the capital of Northern Albania.

Our journey towards the Albanian Alps begins at 8:00 AM. Our tour leader will come and pick you up at your hotel in Tirana/Shkoder. As we drive along the way towards Northern Albania, you will be amazed by beautiful landscapes; wild fields, rivers, Shkodra Lake and rugged untouched mountains. From Shkoder we will experience local transport riding after the visits of Rozafa Castle, pedestrian road of Shkodra center and St Stephen's Catholic Church. We accomodate in Theth for an afternoon in leisure.

After a delicious and healthy breakfast we are ready to go on a hike, the famous "Blue Eye", which was formed by the erosion of the water from the melting snow of the Albanian Alps. You will not be able to take your eyes off this stunning scene of nature with its bright blue and green colours, it’s like being inside a postcard. Grunas Waterfall is a curtain of white water that comes over the grey rocks as if it were being poured from a bucket that never empties. We will go back to the village center to know another unsual path of the Locking Tower. After the visit we start going back to Tirana/Shkoder.
