We depart from Tirane, going along the Adriatic coast, to reach out initially Apollonia; The fascinating landscape of the archeological park, which has been preserved in an exceptionally intact condition, comprises a successful combination of the beauty of monuments and nature, attractive through its long history, in an atmosphere of relaxation and meditation. The next visit will be "The Zvernec Monastery", a medieval Byzantine church on Zvërnec Island inside the Narta Lagoon.

On the very next day, we leave all the history behind and join for a boat trip, that will bring us to the famous Sazan Island. Like the dictator Enver Hoxha said; whoever owns Sazan Island, holds the keys to the Otranto Channel. The nearest channel that brings the west; Italy near Albania, is only 70 km from that point. After some hours of exploring, we decided to come back and enjoy an afternoon at leisure, to later on, come back to Tirana.
